Specialist techniques incorporated into massage will help break down scar tissue and adhesions formed after injury, enabling muscles, tendons and ligaments to work properly again.

It will help realign fibres and encourages tissues to heal with minimal loss of function.

Remedial massage is the use of advanced massage techniques to provide a ‘remedy’ i.e. Relieve pain, reduce muscle spasm. This may be caused by excess tension / spasm in muscles, tissue damage (I.e. Lesions / adhesions) resulting from a torn or ‘pulled’ muscle, ligament / tendon damage / tightness, injury, fatigue etc...

There are several advanced massage techniques, some people respond to certain techniques whilst some respond to others, its a case of finding out what works for each individual, i.e. Deep tissue friction, trigger point therapy, positional release techniques, neuromuscular techniques etc...
